Paramount+ and Nickelodeon unveil the trailer for the new family adventure, ‘Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado’.

Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have officially revealed the trailer for Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado. This brand-new original, feature-length live-action movie brings the world’s most beloved explorer back into the spotlight.
Premiering Wednesday, July 2, the action-packed family adventure will debut on both Paramount+ and Nickelodeon in the U.S., with a global release to follow shortly after.
An all-new treasure hunt begins
In Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado, the now teenage explorer races against time to recover the legendary Sol Dorado treasure before it falls into the wrong hands. As the dangers of the Amazonian jungle close in, Dora must rely on her courage, her friends, and her lifelong love of exploration to save the day.
A new generation of heroes
The cast features a talented new lineup, including:
- Samantha Lorraine as Dora, the brave and adventurous 16-year-old heroine
- Jacob Rodriguez as Diego, Dora’s 17-year-old cousin and trusted jungle partner
- Mariana Garzón Toro as Naiya, Diego’s bold and fearless coworker
- Acston Luca Porto as Sonny, Naiya’s spirited younger brother
- Daniella Pineda as Camila the Crusader, a legendary archaeologist and Dora’s childhood idol
- Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias as the voice of Boots, Dora’s mischievous monkey sidekick

Alberto Belli (The Naughty Nine) directed the film, which was written by JT Billings (Are You Afraid of the Dark?). The executive producers are Adam Bonnett, Chris Gifford, and Valerie Walsh Valdes, the creative team behind the original series.

Since first hitting Nickelodeon airwaves on August 14, 2000, Dora the Explorer has become one of the most iconic and globally recognized children’s franchises. For nearly 25 years, Dora has broken barriers and entertained millions with her bilingual adventures, cultural inclusivity, and empowering messages.
