Dora Returns for Season Two of the Animated Preschool Series

Unlock new mystical adventures in Dora’s second season on Paramount+.

Paramount+ is bringing back everyone’s favorite bilingual explorer for more adventures as the streaming platform announced the highly anticipated second season of Dora will premiere on Friday, Sept. 13. The new season, produced by Nickelodeon Animation, features 26 CG-animated, 11-minute episodes. They continue Dora’s exciting journeys through a mystical and magical rainforest. In this season, Dora and her trusty monkey companion, Boots, will encounter new challenges and tricky obstacles and venture into fantastical territories. Audiences can expect to meet new friends, learn inspiring lessons, and sing along to catchy tunes, all while joining Dora in her epic adventures. The series’ emphasis on exploration and helping others makes it a fun, educational ride for preschoolers, blending entertainment with valuable life lessons. Watch the trailer below!

The show’s stellar voice cast returns.

Starring are Diana Zermeño as Dora, Asher Colton Spence as Boots, and Anairis Quiñones as Map and the Fiesta Trio’s Armadillo. Fans will also hear familiar voices. Marc Weiner returns as Swiper, and Mike Smith Rivera as Papi. New additions like Dascha Polanco join La Reina. The series will also feature special guest stars such as Taboo as Quickatoo and Kate del Castillo as Ale the Alebrije. Watch the Swiper music video.

Dora will start airing on Monday, September 16, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and at 5 p.m. (ET/PT) on the Nick Jr. channel for those who prefer watching on traditional TV. All 26 first-season episodes are available for streaming exclusively on Paramount+. Dans can catch up before the new adventures begin.

“Dora” has been a huge hit with kids ever since it first aired on Nickelodeon in 2000. “Dora the Explorer” has become a worldwide sensation known for representing diversity and bringing kids from different backgrounds together. The show has been broadcast in over 150 countries. It has also been translated into 32 languages and has won numerous awards. As she embarks on new journeys this season, audiences, young and old, will surely be captivated by the magic, adventure, and heartwarming lessons that have made Dora a household name for nearly 25 years.
