Daima, the latest addition to the beloved Dragon Ball franchise, is now available to stream on Crunchyroll. Fans can watch it starting October 11 at 10:00 AM PT. After Daylight Saving Time ends, new episodes will be released every Friday at 9:00 AM PT.

The story follows Goku and his friends.

They are living peaceful lives until a mysterious conspiracy caused them to suddenly turn small. This transformation may be linked to the “Demon Realm,” where they encounter a young Majin named Glorio, who might hold the key to solving the mystery. Watch the trailer below!

The Japanese voice cast for Daima includes Masako Nozawa as Goku, Yumiko Kobayashi as Supreme Kai (Mini), Koki Uchiyama as Glorio, Fairouz Ai as Panzy, Ryota Suzuki as Yamcha, Junya Enoki as Degesu, Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah, and Yoko Hikasa as Dr. Arinsu.

Daima was first announced last year during a special panel at New York Comic Con 2023. It generated excitement among fans worldwide. The series commemorates the 40th anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s iconic manga. It debuted in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1984. The manga has sold over 260 million copies globally, solidifying its place in pop culture history.

Produced by Toei Animation, Daima adds a new chapter to the expansive DB universe. The franchise now spans six episodic series—Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, and Dragon Ball Daima—as well as 21 feature films. The global phenomenon has also inspired various mobile and video games, a trading card game, and a wide range of licensed merchandise, further expanding its multi-generational fan base.

With Daima, fans can expect an all-new original storyline that continues the thrilling adventures of Goku and his friends, celebrating the franchise’s enduring legacy on its 40th anniversary.
