Furiosa will be a dystopian adventure in the Mad Max world.
George Miller, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker, is finally returning to the dystopian world he created over 30 years ago with his new movie, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” This standalone action-adventure film explores the origins of the iconic character Furiosa from the blockbuster hit “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Fans of the franchise can look forward to experiencing another thrilling ride with this much-anticipated installment. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, and Tom Burke. It will be in theaters on May 24, 2024. Check out the trailer below!
The story takes place in a chaotic world, where young Furiosa is forcibly separated from the Green Place of Many Mothers and taken by the formidable Biker Horde, led by the ruthless Warlord Dementus. As they travel through the unforgiving Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, a place ruled by the oppressive Immortan Joe. Amidst the power struggle between these two tyrants, Furiosa embarks on a perilous journey, facing numerous trials as she tries to find her way back home.
