Ghostbusters: Afterlife Sequel Begins Filming

The follow-up sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife is hitting theaters this year.

The sequel to the 2021 Ghostbusters film begins production. They are filming the Afterlife follow-up in London. The working title is Firehouse and will be directed by Gil Kenan, who wrote this film and the previous one with Jason Reitman. The cast from Afterlife will return and will take fans back to the New York City Firehouse, where Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson’s character will be training a new team. Synopsis

After the events in Oklahoma, the Ghostbusters team returns to where it all started; New York City! The Spengler family story continues with a new group led by Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd).
