Jason Reitman will direct the 2023 sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
During Ecto-Fest on Ghostbusters Day, Jason Reitman took to the stage to announce some exciting projects. One of those projects was the sequel to 2021’s Afterlife. He confirmed that he and his writing partner Gil Kenan are working on the script. The working title of the sequel will be Firehouse. Additionally, Reitman confirmed that the sequel would take us back to the famous Hook and Ladder 8, where the end credit scene teased the return of the Ecto-1 to its home alongside Ernie Hudson’s Winston.
