Godzilla teams up with Kong against a new threat.
After the epic battle between the two giant monsters in “Godzilla vs. Kong,” the Monsterverse series presents its latest addition, “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” Legendary Pictures once again brings these iconic characters to the screen as Kong and Godzilla face a dangerous new threat emerging from the depths of our world. Director Adam Wingard returns to take the narrative deeper into the histories of these colossal beings and the enigmatic landscapes of Skull Island and beyond. The film promises to reveal the mythic origins of Godzilla and Kong, interweaving their destinies with the fate of humanity. A stellar cast reprises their roles from the previous installment, including Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.
Wingard is collaborating again with photography director Ben Seresin, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Josh Schaeffer, and costume designer Emily Seresin. Together, they are creating a visually stunning world that immerses audiences in the heart of the action. The movie is scheduled for nationwide release in theaters and IMAX on March 29, 2024, with its international rollout beginning on March 27, 2024. As the Titans clash again, viewers worldwide will witness the rise of a new empire where monsters reign supreme.
