Keanu Reeves is a well-meaning angel in Good Fortune, written and directed by Aziz Ansari.

Aziz Ansari returns to the director’s chair with Good Fortune, a sharp and offbeat comedy that brings together an all-star cast for a cosmic clash of destiny, class, and chaos. The film hits theaters exclusively on October 17.
An Angel With the Best Intentions… and Terrible Timing
In Good Fortune, Keanu Reeves takes on the role of Gabriel, an angel who’s trying his best to do the right thing—but keeps getting it all wrong. His mission? Intervene in the lives of two very different people: a down-on-his-luck gig worker played by Aziz Ansari and a wealthy venture capitalist portrayed by Seth Rogen.
The result is a divine mess of misunderstandings, spiritual shortcuts, and some well-intentioned celestial meddling.

A Star-Powered Ensemble
The cast of Good Fortune is led by Keanu Reeves (John Wick, The Matrix) as Gabriel, an angel with questionable instincts. Aziz Ansari (Master of None) plays a struggling gig worker caught in the middle of Gabriel’s divine mishaps, while Seth Rogen (This Is the End, Neighbors) stars as a wealthy venture capitalist who becomes the unintended target of celestial interference. The ensemble is rounded out by Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and more.
