New series version of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps coming to Disney+.
Goosebumps the beloved books by R.L. Stine is getting brand new Disney+ episodes. Variety reported that Disney+ has given the show a 10-episode order. Goosebumps became 74-episode live-action TV series between 1996 – 1998. Two feature films were released starring Jack Black in 2016 and 2018. Last year Disney+ adapted Stine’s Just Beyond novel into an 8-episode season.
Synopsis
The series follows a group of five high schoolers who unleash supernatural forces upon their town and must all work together – thanks to and in spite of their friendships, rivalries, and pasts with each other – in order to save it, learning much about their own parents’ teenage secrets in the process.
