Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Knocks Super Mario Bros. Movie From Top Spot

The final Guardians of the Galaxy movie delivers several teary-eyed moments.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, one of the most highly anticipated films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has opened up at the top spot. Super Mario Bros. Movie which has already crossed a billion dollars is no longer the number one film. Volume 3 brought in $114,000,000 domestically and wrapped up the weekend with a global total of $282,100,000. The third installment of the popular franchise delivers a final story of the ragtag group of misfits. Director James Gunn concludes the trilogy by exploring Rocket’s backstory providing closure to the storylines established in the previous two films. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, return for this thrilling and emotional conclusion. Read our movie review.

Synopis

Our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
