The Critics Choice Association (CCA) awarded Harrison Ford the Career Achievement Award. This all happened tonight at the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards. Chelsea Handler hosted the event, which aired on television. Ford is currently starring in Apple TV+’s comedy series “Shrinking” and the Yellowstone spinoff series “1923” alongside Helen Mirren. This year he received a nomination Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The actor is also set to appear in Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross alongside Anthony Mackie and Liv Tyler.
Throughout his long career, Harrison Ford has starred in some of the most successful and highly-rated movies in cinema history. Ford has left a lasting impact on the film industry. From the iconic Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises to eight Best Picture Oscar-nominated movies, Ford has delivered so much. The actor has won accolades such as an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and one BAFTA Award for his outstanding performances.

Some of them are the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute, and an Honorary César Award in 2010. In 1994, the National Association of Theater Owners named him the Box Office Star of the Century. Ford recently appeared in the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” He received the honorary Palme d’Or for lifetime achievement at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where the film premiered. He has also taken on the role of executive producer for the Annapurna drama series “The Staircase” and starred in Fox’s adaptation of Jack London’s classic novel “The Call of the Wild.”
From his breakthrough role in 1973’s “American Graffiti” to the iconic characters of Han Solo and Indiana Jones, Ford’s journey in cinema has been nothing short of extraordinary.
