House of David Renewed for Season Two

House of David headlines Wonder Project’s subscription launch.

Wonder Project has announced the renewal of its biblical drama series House of David for a second season. The series will return with a two-episode premiere on October 5, 2025, coinciding with the official launch of Wonder’s new subscription offering on Prime Video in the U.S.

The Wonder Project subscription service is priced at $8.99 per month or $89.99 annually. It will launch with over 125 licensed titles and more than 1,000 hours of curated content. Designed for the faith and values audience, the service brings together premium films and TV series from major studios including Banijay Entertainment, BBC, Disney, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, and Sony Pictures.

House of David Season Two

Produced in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, House of David dramatizes the life of one of the most iconic figures of the Bible. The second season picks up in the aftermath of David’s victory over Goliath as he begins his ascent to the throne. As palace politics, family jealousy, and romance test his resolve, David steps deeper into his destiny and learns the cost of becoming a great leader.

The main cast of House of David features Michael Iskander as David, with Raphael Korniets portraying him as a child. Ali Suliman stars as King Saul alongside Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam, while Stephen Lang takes on the role of the prophet Samuel. Indy Lewis plays Michal, Saul’s daughter, and Ethan Kai portrays Jonathan, Saul’s son and David’s close companion. Rounding out the ensemble is Martyn Ford as the giant Goliath.
