Anthony Ramos debuts as The Hood in action-packed ‘Ironheart’ trailer.

Marvel Studios has unveiled the official trailer for Ironheart, giving fans their first look at Riri Williams’ high-flying solo journey. The Disney+ series premieres June 24 with a three-episode launch at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
The intriguing new series stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a young genius inventor whose iron suits rival the best in the MCU. The character debuted in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler, who also produces this series and had recent success with Sinners.
“Ironheart is such a great character in publishing,” said Coogler. “In 2016, Brian Michael Bendis created a character who would be a successor of sorts to the Iron Man legacy. In the comic book, Riri Williams and Tony Stark had a relationship—she was a student at MIT who came from an almost polar opposite background as Tony. Still, they came together in their passion to better society. Eventually, the character gets her own identity as Ironheart, and other writers like Eve Ewing picked up from there, taking Riri Williams to Chicago.”

Set after the events of Wakanda Forever, Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri returns to her hometown of Chicago. Determined to make her mark on the world, Riri’s brilliant take on building iron suits sets her on a bold new path—but her ambitions soon entangle her with Parker Robbins, aka “The Hood,” a mysterious and charming figure played by Anthony Ramos. Robbins is unlike any enemy she’s faced before, wielding a dangerous mix of dark magic and street-level power.
The trailer teases a fresh take on what it means to be a hero.
The cast also features Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam and Anji White. Ironheart marks another major step in expanding the next generation of Marvel heroes, spotlighting one of the MCU’s most promising new leads.
The series premieres June 24, 2025, exclusively on Disney+, with three episodes available to stream on day one.
