Jason Statham is set to lead the upcoming action thriller A Working Man, a gripping tale of loyalty, revenge, and redemption. Fury and Suicide Squad filmmaker David Ayer directs the film. The screenplay is co-written by Sylvester Stallone and Ayer. It promises a hard-hitting story packed with emotional depth and explosive action. the film centers on Levon Cade (Statham), a former black ops operative who left behind a decorated military career to pursue a quieter life. Now working in construction, Cade values his simple routine and the family-like bonds he’s built with his crew. However, his tranquil life is upended when his boss’s daughter—whom Cade views as family—is abducted by a human trafficking ring.
As Cade embarks on a relentless mission to rescue her, he is thrust into a dark underworld of crime and corruption, revealing a conspiracy far more sinister than he ever anticipated. With his specialized skills and unyielding determination, Cade wages a one-man war against the forces threatening the innocent.
Michael Peña (Ant-Man, End of Watch) and David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow) join Statham in the cast. They play pivotal roles in Cade’s journey. Director David Ayer, known for his gritty storytelling and dynamic action sequences, brings his signature style to A Working Man. Ayer describes the film as “a tribute to everyday heroes who rise above impossible odds when called upon.”
With a powerhouse creative team and an all-star cast, A Working Man is set to deliver an adrenaline-fueled experience with an emotional core.
