‘Jaws’ 50th Anniversary Edition Surfaces on Disc and Digital This Summer

Universal celebrates Jaws 50th anniversary with new home release.

One of the most legendary films in cinematic history is returning to screens like never before: Jaws. It is the original summer blockbuster that turned director Steven Spielberg into a household name. The classic film is set to make waves again with the Jaws 50th Anniversary Edition. It will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital on June 17, 2025, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

To celebrate five decades of terror from beneath the surface, this special edition includes more than five hours of bonus features and the debut of a brand-new documentary, Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story, from National Geographic. Directed by Laurent Bouzereau and produced in collaboration with Amblin Documentaries, Nedland Media, and shark conservation advocate Wendy Benchley, the documentary offers an unprecedented look at the making and enduring legacy of the 1975 classic.
