John Cena Hits the Road Again for “What Drives You” Season 2

John Cena’s “What Drives You” Season 2 puts his car love front and center.

John Cena is back for Season 2 of “What Drives You,” a four-episode The Roku Channel series built on two things he never fakes. He loves cars. He also loves real talk with people who earned their spot. The setup stays simple. Cena gets in the driver’s seat with a guest. Then he lets the road do some of the work. The ride becomes the icebreaker. The conversation becomes the point.

A four-episode season with four big names

Season 2 features four guests from four different lanes of fame. Singer and rapper Saweetie joins Cena for a ride and a reset. WWE champion Charlotte Flair brings an athlete’s mindset and the family legacy. Country star Kane Brown adds Nashville flavor and grind. MLB superstar Mookie Betts rounds it out with elite focus and quiet confidence.

Each episode centers on the same question. What keeps you pushing forward when the spotlight never shuts off? The show chases that answer through personal stories, career turns, and the meaning behind the vehicles they choose.

Cars aren’t a prop for Cena

Cena does not treat cars like set dressing. He talks like a guy who actually cares about the smell of the interior and the feel of the drive. That passion matters here because it makes the guests relax. It also makes the show feel less like an interview and more like a hangout.

The series comes from ITV, with Cena also serving as an executive producer. Dan Baime, David George, Shawn Witt, Sean Moran, and Jay Bienstock round out the executive producer team.

A post-WWE chapter for John Cena, with the volume turned down.

Season 2 also lands during a major shift in Cena’s public life. After a long, history-making WWE run, he officially retired from in-ring action in December 2025.

That timing gives “What Drives You” an extra layer. Cena does not need to cut a promo here. He can listen, he can ask follow-ups, and he can sit in the quiet for a beat. It’s a different kind of performance, and it fits where he is now.

Talk shows live or die on chemistry. “What Drives You” stacks the deck by putting people in a car. You can’t hide behind a desk. You can’t stall with small talk forever. Eventually, the road opens up, and so do the guests.

For fans, the hook is easy. You get Cena, you get cars, and you get honest career stories. For Cena, it looks like the perfect next gear.

What Drives You begins streaming on The Roku Channel on January 16, 2026.
