Iron Friends Assemble! New Trailer for Marvel’s Preschool Series Drops with Star-Studded Guest Cast

Marvel Entertainment has released the official trailer for its latest animated preschool series, Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, set to premiere August 11 on Disney Jr. at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. The show will also air the same day on Disney Channel, with the first 10 episodes available to stream on Disney+ starting August 12 and through Disney Jr. On Demand.
This new series marks Marvel’s first preschool-focused show centered around Iron Man, following the breakout success of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The trailer reveals a fresh, kid-friendly take on classic Marvel characters while spotlighting the adventures of young heroes in high-tech suits.
John Stamos Returns to the Marvel Universe
John Stamos, best known for his role as Uncle Jesse on Full House and Disney+’s Big Shot, is once again lending his voice to the Marvel preschool world. After previously voicing Tony Stark in Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Stamos now takes on the role of Howard Stark, Tony’s father. A first-look image of Howard Stark, voiced by Stamos, was also released today, giving audiences a glimpse at the character’s animated design.

An All-Star Lineup Joins the Cast
The series features a robust guest cast. ESPN sportscaster Jessica Mendoza voices Dottie Doubleday, the cheerful owner of a local batting cage. Jackée Harry appears as Granny Williams, Riri’s high-spirited grandmother who runs a mobile pie truck.

Stephen Tobolowsky lends his voice to Spencer Q. Sweets, the eccentric owner of the neighborhood candy shop, while Lauren Tom plays Helen Cho, Amadeus Cho’s loving and enthusiastic mother. The duo of Gary Anthony Williams and Mo Collins provide comic relief as Nuts and Bolts, two of Ultron’s bumbling robotic henchmen.
Meet the Iron Friends
Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends follows best friends and young super geniuses Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho. As Iron Man, Ironheart, and Iron Hulk, they utilize their intelligence, inventions, and teamwork to tackle problems both big and small. Each of the heroes has their own customized Iron Suit that grants them flight and enhanced strength, helping them protect their city while learning valuable life lessons.



The core voice cast includes Mason Blomberg as Tony Stark (Iron Man), Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams (Ironheart), and Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk). Tony Hale voices the series’ main villain, Ultron, with Vanessa Bayer as Swarm and Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man.
Series Launches This August
Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is geared toward preschool audiences and offers a bright, accessible introduction to the Marvel Universe. The series premieres August 11 on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel, with the first 10 episodes landing on Disney+ and Disney Jr. On Demand on August 12.
