Wish You Were Here is a story of love, loss, and second chances.

Acclaimed actress Julia Stiles steps behind the camera for the first time with Wish You Were Here, a romantic drama based on Renée Carlino’s bestselling novel. The film is written by Stiles and Carlino. It features a star-studded cast. The cast includes Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan: First Kill), Mena Massoud (Aladdin), and Jimmie Fails (The Last Black Man in San Francisco). Newcomer Gabby Kono-Abdy also joins them. The lineup features Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing) and Kelsey Grammer (Frasier). The movie will debut exclusively in theaters on January 17, 2025.

Wish You Were Here follows Charlotte (Fuhrman), a woman whose life feels stagnant and devoid of meaning. A seemingly perfect evening spent with a stranger (Massoud) gives her hope, but the encounter takes an abrupt turn when he disappears the next morning. As Charlotte embarks on a journey to unravel the mystery, she discovers life-altering secrets that challenge her perceptions of love and destiny.

Stiles, known for her standout roles in movies like *10 Things I Hate About You* and *Save the Last Dance*, is bringing a popular novel to the big screen. The cast has everyone talking! Fuhrman really nails her part with some emotional depth, and Massoud adds a nice touch of charm and mystery. Plus, seasoned pros like Jennifer Grey and Kelsey Grammer bring their experience, while rising stars Jimmie Fails and Gabby Kono-Abdy round out the group.

Wish You Were Here promises to captivate audiences with its romance, drama, and self-discovery blend. The adaptation has already garnered interest among fans of Carlino’s novel and moviegoers eager to see Stiles’ vision on screen.

Wish You Were Here is poised to be a standout release in early 2025. Mark your calendars for this highly anticipated theatrical debut.
