Kevin Feige Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame Ahead of Deadpool & Wolverine Release

Kevin Feige’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star is a Marvelous milestone.

Kevin Feige, the visionary producer behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), was honored with the 2,785th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, July 25. The ceremony, which was a star-studded affair, took place at 11:00 a.m. PT at 6840 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the El Capitan Theatre. Feige received his star in the category of Motion Pictures, a testament to his monumental contributions to the film industry. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman attended the celebration. Reynolds stars in Feige’s newest Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Kevin Feige totally deserved a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The movies he’s worked on have become a big deal and are a huge part of cinema history. Also in attendance were Emma Corrin, Chris Evans, Kathryn Hahn, David Harbour, Ke Huy Quan, Brie Larson, Shawn Levy, Simu Liu, Sebastian Stan, and Chris Pratt. Watch the ceremony below!

Feige is the brains behind the MCU as the producer and president of Marvel Studios. Under his leadership, Marvel Studios has made 33 films, all topped the box office and collectively earned nearly $30 billion worldwide. Ten of these films made over $1 billion globally, with “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War” passing the $2 billion mark. “Avengers: Endgame” set the record as the fastest film to hit this historical milestone.

Feige’s journey started with “Iron Man” back in 2008.

The movie exceeded box office expectations and set the stage for the interconnected universe of the MCU. “The Avengers” came next in 2012, and it became the highest-grossing film of the year, making history with a $200 million opening weekend domestically. Feige’s had other box office hits as well, like “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Captain Marvel,” “Captain America: Civil War,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and “Black Panther,” which made headlines as the first superhero film to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture.

Kevin Feige‘s impact goes way beyond just the box office. In 2022, “Iron Man” was added to the National Film Registry because of its cultural significance. Marvel Studios has a bunch of new flicks lined up, like “Deadpool & Wolverine” coming out on July 26, “Captain America: Brave New World” in February 2025, “Thunderbolts” in May 2025, and “The Fantastic Four” in July 2025.

Feige’s accolades include an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination, the 2019 David O. Selznick Achievement Award from the Producers Guild of America, and the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award from BAFTA. A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, Feige continues shaping the future of Hollywood storytelling.
