ATX TV Festival to host King of the Hill panel and backyard BBQ party.

Yup! That’s right – we’re heading back to Arlen, Texas. The iconic animated series King of the Hill is officially returning this summer, and fans are getting a first look at the highly anticipated revival during a special reunion panel at this year’s ATX TV Festival.

ATX and Hulu have announced they’re teaming up to host a marquee King of the Hill event on Friday, May 30 at 7PM at the legendary Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas. Not only will fans get a sneak peek at the upcoming Season 14 revival, but they’ll also see the cast and creators reunite on stage to celebrate 15 years since the show’s final episode aired.
Who’s Coming to the King of the Hill Cookout?
Creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels will be joined by showrunner Saladin K. Patterson (who’s leading the revival) and fan-favorite voice cast members Pamela Adlon, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss. They’ll dive into their favorite behind-the-scenes stories, classic moments from the original run, and what fans can expect from the new episodes premiering on Hulu later this summer.

- Giveaways, backyard games, and chill tunes
- And, of course, good ol’ propane-powered fun
This celebration is exclusively for Camp Badgeholders and invited guests, but single tickets for the panel are also available if you’d like to join the reunion action.

About the Show
Originally airing from 1997 to 2009, King of the Hill followed the lives of propane salesman Hank Hill, his wife Peggy, and son Bobby in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas. Along with a lovable (and sometimes wild) group of neighbors and friends like Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill, the show captured small-town life with heart and hilarious realism.
The new season picks up in present-day Arlen, with the original co-creators back at the helm. It’s produced by 20th Television Animation and Hulu, with help from 3 Arts and Bandera Entertainment.
So get ready, y’all. The Hill family is back – and it’s gonna be a dang ol’ good time.
