‘King of the Hill’ Returns: Watch the Official Trailer for Season 14

King of the Hill Season 14 brings the Hills back to Arlen.

Fans of King of the Hill can finally fire up the grill and crack open a cold one in the alley again — the beloved animated series is officially back with Season 14, and the first trailer is here to watch.

Hank and Peggy Come Home to a New Arlen

After more than a decade off the air, the Emmy-winning series is picking up right where it left off. However, there is a twist. In the all-new season, Hank and Peggy Hill return to Arlen, Texas, after spending years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to build up their retirement nest egg. But back home, things aren’t quite the same as they remember.

Longtime friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill are still around, but Arlen itself has changed, forcing Hank and Peggy to reconnect with the neighborhood and find their footing again. Meanwhile, their son Bobby is living out his dream as a chef in Dallas, enjoying his 20s with old classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.

A Classic Show for a New Generation

Set in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas, King of the Hill originally ran for 13 seasons on Fox. The show followed Hank Hill — the dedicated propane salesman who loved propane and propane accessories — his sharp and ambitious wife Peggy, and their quirky son Bobby, who always kept his dad on his toes. Hank’s loyal crew — conspiracy nut Dale, lonely barber Bill, and smooth-talking Boomhauer — plus Peggy’s circle of friends, Minh and Nancy, and Bobby’s friend Connie, all made the show a beloved, slice-of-life sitcom with a Texas twist.

The Team Behind the Comeback

The new season comes from 20th Television Animation. It is executive produced by the show’s original co-creators, Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, joined by new executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson.

Fans can revisit every past season of King of the Hill now streaming on Hulu, and get ready to see what’s next for the Hills and their neighbors in this long-awaited revival.
