‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ Roars Onto Digital and Blu-ray

‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ will be released for Home Entertainment.

20th Century Studios’ latest action-adventure spectacle, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” will soon get a digital and physical release. It will be available for purchase at digital retailers, such as Prime Video, starting July 9. The film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 27. Set generations after Caesar’s reign, the story unfolds in a world where apes have risen to dominance. The film follows the journey of an ape named Noa and a human named Mae. Their choices will shape the future of human-ape coexistence. As they navigate this new world, their journey and decisions will define the delicate balance between the two species, offering a unique and intriguing perspective on the Planet of the Apes saga.

it features over three hours of special features. It includes “Inside the Lens: The Raw Cut,” an alternate version of the film. This unique feature presents a split-screen comparison between the final cut and a version with unfinished visual effects, complemented by optional audio commentary from director Wes Ball, editor Dan Zimmerman, and VFX supervisor Erik Winquist. This behind-the-scenes glimpse allows fans to witness the actors’ raw performances before the visual effects were completed.

The 4K UHD edition is also available in a collectible limited edition SteelBook. It features custom artwork by renowned artist Dylan Cole.
