“KITE MAN: HELL YEAH!” Takes Flight With Max Debut This Month

The late Lance Reddick voices Lex Luthor in Kite Man: Hell Yeah!

Max Original is set to launch its latest adult animated series, “KITE MAN: HELL YEAH!” with a high-flying premiere on July 18. The series kicks off with a double-episode release, followed by weekly installments every Thursday until September 12, exclusively on Max.

The series is a spin-off of the acclaimed Harley Quinn series.

“KITE MAN: HELL YEAH!” ventures into uncharted territory with its quirky premise. The show follows Kite Man and Golden Glider as they navigate the complexities of running a bar near the infamous Legion of Doom, headed by Lex Luthor. Serving drinks to Gotham’s most notorious villains is challenging, blending humor with the challenges of their unique business venture. Watch the trailer below!

Voiced by an ensemble cast, the series stars Matt Oberg as the titular Kite Man and Stephanie Hsu as Golden Glider. Joining them are James Adomian as the menacing Bane, Natasia Demetriou as Malice, and Janelle James as Queen of Fables. Jonathan Banks lends his voice to Noonan, alongside Keith David as Darkseid and Michael Imperioli as the dual personalities of Joe/Moe Dubelz. Rory Scovel plays Gus the Goon, with the late Lance Reddick, who is a big Batman fan, embodying the authoritative Lex Luthor, and Judith Light as Helen Villigan.

“KITE MAN: HELL YEAH!” is a blend of comedy and adventure, set against the backdrop of Gotham’s criminal underbelly. As the series unfolds, viewers can expect an exploration of relationships amidst chaos, where even the most dangerous villains seek refuge and relaxation. This series aims to deliver laughs and surprises with each episode for fans of the DC Universe and adult animation enthusiasts alike.
