Knives Out Franchise Continues With ‘Wake Up Dead Man’

Benoit Blanc is back on the case in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.”

Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the charismatic Southern investigator Benoit Blanc in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.” This is the third installment of the beloved whodunnit franchise, helmed once again by writer and director Rian Johnson. In this new chapter, Blanc must solve yet another perplexing murder mystery. It is set against an undisclosed backdrop and features a fresh ensemble of intriguing suspects.

In a recent Twitter post, Johnson expressed his enthusiasm for the versatility of the whodunnit genre. He noted its wide spectrum of tones from the classic works of Carr to Christie. He hinted at the excitement of exploring this range in the context of the Benoit Blanc Knives Out movies. Johnson promises audiences a thrilling ride through the intricacies of the mystery.
