Netflix will release a new holiday rom-com, ‘Our Little Secret,‘ which stars Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan is back in Our Little Secret. Netflix’s upcoming holiday rom-com brings plenty of laughs, nostalgia, and family chaos just in time for the season. The film follows Avery (Lohan), who heads home for the holidays to meet her boyfriend’s family. Her festive plans take an unexpected turn. She bumps into her ex, Logan (Ian Harding). Logan happens to be dating her boyfriend’s sister. Awkward encounters and unresolved feelings stir up a delightful holiday mix, making for an unmissable viewing experience.
Lohan is becoming a holiday staple on Netflix.
The film follows her roles in Falling for Christmas (2022) and Irish Wish earlier this year. In Our Little Secret, she and Harding bring the film’s heart as exes with undeniable chemistry. While Avery and Logan have been separated for a while, Logan still holds a soft spot for Avery’s quirks, from her “deep love of snacks and coffee” to her classic mistake of underdressing in any weather under 70 degrees, as Harding told Netflix’s Tudum.
Kristin Chenoweth adds to the fun. She plays Erica Morgan, the family matriarch. Erica is the mastermind behind much of the movie’s humorous family dynamics. Erica’s involvement ensures that there’s no shortage of yuletide complications as her children’s love lives intertwine in hilariously unpredictable ways. Holidate’s Katie Baker, who portrays Erica’s daughter Cassie, was thrilled to play alongside Chenoweth, saying, “Being compared to Kristin Chenoweth is actually my childhood dream come true.”
The star-studded cast also includes Tim Meadows, Jon Rudnitsky, Henry Czerny, and Judy Reyes. This brings together comedy veterans and fresh faces for a laugh-filled family gathering. With a mix of romance, family drama, and holiday spirit, Our Little Secret promises to be a new seasonal favorite.
