Prime Video unveils trailer for Shane Black’s Play Dirty.

An expert thief sets his sights on the ultimate score in Play Dirty, a new action-packed thriller from director Shane Black (Iron Man 3, The Nice Guys). The film, adapted from the “Parker” book series by Richard Stark, will debut globally on Prime Video on October 1.
The Story
Mark Wahlberg stars as Parker, a master thief planning the biggest heist of his life. Alongside his trusted crew—Grofield (LaKeith Stanfield), Zen (Rosa Salazar), and others—Parker’s latest job quickly spirals into dangerous territory when the crew crosses paths with the New York mob. The film promises Black’s signature blend of grit, clever dialogue, and sharp action.
Cast and Crew
The ensemble cast features Wahlberg, Stanfield, and Salazar alongside Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Nat Wolff. Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub are also part of the cast in key roles.

The film is written by Shane Black, Charles Mondry, and Anthony Bagarozzi. Black, best known for redefining action cinema with Lethal Weapon and later directing hits like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, brings his unique tone to the long-running Parker stories.
Legacy of Parker
The Parker novels by Richard Stark (a pseudonym for Donald E. Westlake) are widely regarded as some of the best crime thrillers ever written, featuring a no-nonsense professional thief navigating dangerous underworld landscapes. Play Dirty marks another screen adaptation of the series, this time with Black’s witty, hardboiled stamp.
Play Dirty will be available to stream globally on Prime Video starting October 1.
