Matthew Lillard Leans Into His “Scream” Legacy With Ghost Face Vodka

Matthew Lillard and Macabre Spirits team with Fun World for Ghost Face Vodka.

Macabre Spirits, the horror-centric spirits brand co-founded by actor Matthew Lillard and screenwriter Justin Ware,  is bringing Ghost Face to the bar. They announced Ghost Face Vodka in partnership with Fun World, which owns the copyright and trademark for the Ghost Face mask. The company is positioning the new bottle as both a premium vodka and a collectible drop made for diehard horror fans.

Ghost Face Vodka launches Feb. 9, 2026, with a limited collector box that includes a signed bottle from Lillard. The announcement leans into Lillard’s history with the franchise, since he played Stu Macher in the original “Scream,” one of the film’s Ghost Face killers. The release also arrives as Lillard prepares to return to the franchise in “Scream 7” in February.

“At Macabre Spirits, we love creating premium spirit experiences for the horror community,” Lillard said. “I’ve had a long, lovely history with that mask, so getting to work with Fun World to bring the iconic Ghost Face mask into a whole new space felt full-circle. It’s a chance to give fans something premium, something collectible, and something that tastes incredible, just in time for me to return to the scene of the crime this February.”

A Premium Vodka Built for Horror Nights

Macabre Spirits says its vodka is 100% German potato vodka, distilled in Germany from 100% non-GMO potatoes. The company also notes it is naturally gluten-free. The brand describes Ghost Face Vodka as a clean spirit with a smooth, creamy mid-palate and a silky finish. It is meant to work whether fans pour it neat or use it to build a cocktail for a themed get-together.

However, the main selling point here is the experience. Macabre Spirits continues to treat its releases as event collectibles, not just another bottle on a shelf.

Love at First Slash

Macabre Spirits is launching Ghost Face Vodka through its GFV Killer Collection, a limited-time premium box designed for display and bragging rights.

The set includes:

  • The Bottle: The bottle comes in multi-faceted Italian glass with premium tactile labeling. The company says it is designed to look at home in a display case, not hidden in a cabinet.
  • The Signature: Every bottle label in this collector edition will be hand-signed by Lillard. The company notes this autograph option is only available with this release, and supply is limited.
  • The Collector Box: Each bottle arrives in a sleek, limited-edition box meant to keep the set intact for collectors.
  • Pins and Glassware: The set includes exclusive Ghost Face Vodka pins and custom glassware. Macabre Spirits says both items only come with this box.
  • A Built-In Party Game: A QR code on the bottle links to GFV Killer Bash, a social party game developed specifically for Ghost Face Vodka. The brand is clearly aiming for “group night” energy, not just a solo sip.

Launch Details, Pricing, and What Comes Next

The Ghost Face Vodka Collectible Set goes on sale Feb. 9, 2026, exclusively through a direct-to-consumer release on the brand’s official sales site. The all-in price, including shipping, is $160. Macabre Spirits says that price covers the collector’s box, signed bottle, glassware, pins, and delivery.

After that, the company plans a gradual retail rollout later in 2026. It will begin in limited states and aim for timing that lines up with spooky season. In other words, this drop is the collector play, and the fall push looks like the wider public play.

The timing feels intentional as Scream 7 is around the corner. Lillard has remained a fan-favorite for decades, and “Scream” nostalgia keeps expanding across generations. So a signed Ghost Face bottle does not just sell alcohol. It sells a story, a display piece, and a party centerpiece.
