Hulu sets March release for Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice ahead of SXSW 2026 premiere.
20th Century Studios is bringing a new R-rated action comedy to streaming this month. Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice debuts March 27 as a Hulu exclusive in the United States, with the title also available on Hulu on Disney+ for U.S. bundle subscribers. Viewers outside the U.S. will be able to stream the film on Disney+ internationally.
The movie pairs crime-movie danger with a sci-fi curveball. The story follows two gangsters and the woman they love as a night spirals out of control. Then it gets stranger. A time machine enters the picture, turning a survival story into a reality-bending scramble.
Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, and Eiza González Lead a Stacked Ensemble
The film stars Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, and Eiza González. The supporting cast includes Keith David, Jimmy Tatro, Stephen Root, Lewis Tan, Ben Schwartz, Emily Hampshire, and Arturo Castro.
BenDavid Grabinski wrote and directed the film. Andrew Lazar serves as producer, with Richard Middleton and Vanessa Humphrey listed as executive producers.
That lineup points to a movie built around big personalities and quick comic rhythm.
The hook is simple, then it spins out. Gangsters. A love triangle. One dangerous night. Add a time machine, and the rules stop holding.
Time travel can raise the stakes without slowing the pace. It can also turn one bad decision into three worse ones. That mechanic invites repeated collisions, sudden reversals, and escalating mayhem. It also gives the film a clean, easy-to-share pitch. That helps when audiences scroll fast and decide faster.
SXSW World Premiere Lands March 14 in Austin
Before the streaming launch, the film will premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival 2026 on March 14. The screening will take place at Austin’s Paramount Theatre as part of the festival’s official lineup. Watch the trailer here.
