Grammy Award-winning comedian Nate Bargatze returns to Netflix with GOOD FOR NATHAN on November 24, following his historic world tour that sold more than two million tickets.
Grammy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated comedian Nate Bargatze is returning to Netflix with his fourth stand-up comedy special, GOOD FOR NATHAN, premiering globally on November 24, 2026. The announcement arrives following a historic year for the comedian, who recently earned a Guinness World Records title for selling more than two million tickets during his record-breaking Big Dumb Eyes World Tour.
Filmed in Fort Worth, Texas, and directed by Ryan Polito, the upcoming special brings Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery and relatable storytelling to audiences worldwide. Known for finding humor in everyday situations, Bargatze turns his attention to modern technology, fitness trackers, smart stoves, food delivery services, and the conveniences that sometimes make life more complicated than necessary.
The material was also performed during the 2026 Netflix Is a Joke Festival, giving audiences an early look at the jokes that will now reach millions of Netflix subscribers around the world.
Nate Bargatze Makes Comedy History With Record-Breaking World Tour
Bargatze’s return to Netflix follows one of the most successful stand-up comedy tours in history. His Big Dumb Eyes World Tour officially earned the Guinness World Records title for the most tickets sold on a stand-up comedy tour, reaching an extraordinary 2,045,040 tickets sold.
The achievement further established Bargatze as one of the biggest names in live entertainment, with sold-out performances across major arenas and venues worldwide.
His historic touring success also included more than 84 venue records, three consecutive sellouts at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena within a single calendar year, and two sold-out Hollywood Bowl performances alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, and Sebastian Maniscalco.
According to Pollstar, Bargatze became the world’s highest-earning comedian, while Billboard recognized his achievement of setting a new record for the highest one-year gross by a comedy performer.
Good for Nathan Marks His Fourth Netflix Comedy Special
The upcoming release continues Bargatze’s successful relationship with Netflix, which has helped introduce his clean, observational comedy to audiences around the world.
His previous Netflix specials include NATE BARGATZE: THE TENNESSEE KID in 2019, NATE BARGATZE: THE GREATEST AVERAGE AMERICAN in 2021, and YOUR FRIEND, NATE BARGATZE in 2024.
Between those releases, Bargatze brought his comedy to Prime Video with NATE BARGATZE: HELLO WORLD in 2023, which became the platform’s most-streamed original comedy special during its first 28 days.
His 2024 Netflix special, YOUR FRIEND, NATE BARGATZE, became the platform’s most-watched stand-up special over the following year and earned an Emmy win and three total nominations.
With GOOD FOR NATHAN, Bargatze continues a style of comedy built around everyday experiences, family life, and the frustrations people encounter without relying on explicit material or controversial humor.
From Stand-Up Comedy to Hollywood and Television
Bargatze’s success has also expanded beyond stand-up comedy. Earlier this year, he starred in the Sony Pictures comedy THE BREADWINNER, which he co-wrote with Dan Lagana.
Released theatrically on May 29, 2026, the family-friendly movie featured Mandy Moore, Colin Jost, Will Forte, and Kumail Nanjiani, with Emmy-winning filmmaker Eric Appel directing.
The film received an A- CinemaScore and an 85% Rotten Tomatoes audience score upon its release. Following its theatrical run, THE BREADWINNER spent four weeks on Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 movies chart.
Bargatze has also become a familiar face on television. He hosted the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on CBS in 2025, helping deliver the ceremony’s highest-rated broadcast in four years.
He also hosts the ABC and Hulu comedy game show THE GREATEST AVERAGE AMERICAN, which celebrates the experiences and knowledge of everyday Americans while offering contestants the opportunity to win a grand prize of $67,920, based on the average American salary, with additional money to cover taxes.
His appearances on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE have earned widespread attention, particularly his memorable hosting performances and ability to bring his unique comedic timing to sketch comedy.
Beyond television, Bargatze became a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author with his 2025 book, BIG DUMB EYES: STORIES FROM A SIMPLER MIND, which remained on the bestseller list for 11 weeks.
Building a Comedy Entertainment Empire
In addition to his performances, Bargatze continues expanding his work behind the scenes through Nateland Entertainment, a company focused on producing family-friendly entertainment across film, television, podcasts, stand-up specials, and other projects.
He recently announced No Pictures, a new production label operating under Nateland Entertainment that will develop film and television projects intended for more mature audiences.
While Nateland Entertainment will continue its focus on accessible, family-friendly programming, No Pictures will explore edgier genres and stories aimed at older viewers.
The expansion represents another major step in Bargatze’s career as he moves from successful stand-up comedian to a growing presence in Hollywood as an actor, writer, producer, and entertainment entrepreneur.
