Netflix’s In Your Dreams takes viewers on a wild dreamscape adventure.
Netflix is set to premiere In Your Dreams this fall. It is a comedy adventure that takes audiences on a whimsical journey through the dreamscape. The film is directed by Alex Woo and co-directed by Erik Benson. In Your Dreams is an animated feature that follows siblings Stevie and Elliot as they navigate the bizarre world of their own dreams. With the promise of their ultimate wish granted by the Sandman, the duo must overcome a series of surreal challenges, including a sarcastic stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the formidable queen of nightmares.
Benson and Woo penned the screenplay, and Woo and Stanley Moore conceived the story. Timothy Hahn, p.g.a., and Gregg Taylor, p.g.a., produced the film.
The voice cast includes Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie. Elias Janssen plays Elliot. Simu Liu is Dad. Craig Robinson takes the role of Baloney Tony. Cristin Milioti is Mom. Gia Carides portrays Nightmara. Omid Djalili appears as The Sandman. SungWon Cho is Chad, and Zachary Noah Piser acts as Joon Bae.
Academy Award-nominated composer John Debney, known for his work on Hocus Pocus, The Princess Diaries, and Santa Clarita Diet, provides the film’s score. The soundtrack will include a rendition of Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” It will also feature Weezer’s cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”
With a mix of humor, adventure, and heartfelt moments, In Your Dreams aims to deliver an imaginative escapade for audiences of all ages when it debuts on Netflix this fall.
