Deadpool Series Will Feature His Daughter, Ellie And Death Grip

Deadpool is returning with a bang in an upcoming ongoing series.

Just in time for his anticipated return to the big screen, Marvel’s Deadpool is set to take the comic book world by storm. The irreverent and iconic antihero is getting a brand-new solo ongoing series. Scheduled to hit stands in April, the upcoming “Deadpool” series promises a thrilling ride through a new era of violence, lunacy, and unexpected family dynamics.

Marvel enthusiasts were recently treated to an exclusive glimpse of Taurin Clarke’s explosive cover for “DEADPOOL #1”. The comic series is set to unveil more exciting details in the upcoming months, including the full revelation of Death Grip. With acclaimed writer Cody Ziglar, known for his brilliant work on “Miles Morales: Spider-Man,” and Rogê Antônio, the artist behind some of Venom and Carnage’s bloodiest recent adventures, spearheading this new Deadpool saga, it promises to be a wild and unpredictable ride for both new and old fans alike.

The storyline introduces a new archenemy called Death Grip, who relentlessly pursues Deadpool. Death Grip threatens Deadpool as he tries to trap him in a deadly grip, both figuratively and literally. The series will also showcase Deadpool’s daughter, Ellie, in a significant role. Expect a father-daughter relationship that has never been seen before in the Marvel Universe. Adding to the challenges is Death Grip. He is a formidable villain who emerges, putting Wade’s already tumultuous life in danger, potentially causing him heartbreak and chaos. You can pick up a copy starting March 3rd, 2024.
