The suburban dad-assassin is back and deadlier than ever in Nobody 2.
Bob Odenkirk returns as Hutch Mansell in Nobody 2, where the most dangerous place for a dad might just be a family vacation. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 sleeper hit finds Hutch juggling work, family, and a nonstop stream of international hits—all while still owing $30 million to the Russian mob.
A new kind of getaway
To reconnect with his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) and kids (Gage Munroe and Paisley Cadorath), Hutch agrees to a good old-fashioned family trip to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark—the same one he used to visit with his brother Harry (RZA) back in the day. They even bring along his trigger-happy dad (Christopher Lloyd).
But what’s meant to be a wholesome escape in the sunny little tourist town of Plummerville (“Plummerville is Summerville!”) turns into a full-scale bloodbath. After a minor run-in with some local thugs, Hutch finds himself and his family targeted by a crooked theme park owner (John Ortiz) and a corrupt sheriff (Colin Hanks).
The stakes skyrocket when Hutch becomes the focus of a deranged crime boss, played by none other than screen legend Sharon Stone. And make no mistake—she’s more terrifying than any mobster he’s faced before.
The team behind the carnage
Nobody 2 is directed by Timo Tjahjanto. He is known for his hyper-violent and kinetic style in The Night Comes for Us and The Big 4. The sequel is written by Derek Kolstad, who created the original Nobody and John Wick. Working alongside Kolstad is Aaron Rabin (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) to help build on Kolstad’s original characters. The sequel is produced by 87North, Eighty Two Films, and Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment.
