This season picks up the high-stakes action. Richter Belmont, the last scion of the legendary vampire-hunting Belmont clan, leads his band of allies. They engage in a desperate fight against Erzsebet Báthory, the fearsome Vampire Messiah.
Richter and his team are now joined by the iconic Alucard. They face a race against time. Their mission is to stop Erzsebet from harnessing the full power of the goddess Sekhmet. Erzsebet possesses near-invincible strength. She has an unrelenting hunger for domination. Her goal is to plunge the world into an unending nightmare of darkness and terror.
About Castlevania: Nocturne
Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the French Revolution in 1792, Castlevania: Nocturne unfolds in a remote region of western France, where the aristocracy has struck a sinister pact with Erzsebet Báthory. The Vampire Messiah promises to “eat the sun” and unleash her nightmarish army of vampires and night creatures to crush revolutionary forces and enslave humanity.
The series follows Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, who recruits Richter Belmont to lead the resistance. With the Belmont family’s storied legacy as vampire hunters, Richter emerges as humanity’s last hope against the encroaching tide of darkness.
From showrunners Kevin Kolde (Castlevania) and Clive Bradley (Trapped), the series continues to expand the rich, gothic lore of the Castlevania universe. Produced by Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation, the series features intense storytelling. It also offers stunning visuals and riveting action.
