The cast of Office Space reunites for a new ad for Walmart. Since the colossal retailer is not open on Thanksgiving, Walmart’s Black Friday is now sprinkled throughout November. They will have Black Friday deals every Monday for this month. The video below pays homage to the classic comedy that hates Mondays and stolen staplers. The Mike Judge film starred Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, and Gary Cole. The 1999 film also featured Ajay Naidu, Diedrich Bader, David Herman, and Michael Bolton. Synopsis
Corporate drone Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) hates his soul-killing job at the software company Initech. While undergoing hypnotherapy, Peter is blissful when his therapist dies in the middle of their session. He refuses to work overtime, plays games at his desk, and unintentionally charms two consultants into putting him on the management fast track. When Peter’s friends learn they’re about to be downsized, they hatch a revenge plot against the company inspired by “Superman III.”
