Season 4 of “Only Murders in the Building” promises a high-stakes mystery.

In Season 4 of “Only Murders in the Building,” the amateur podcasting trio faces yet another suspenseful challenge as they grapple with the shocking events that concluded Season 3. The show, created by Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman, and John Hoffman, returns to Hulu on August 27, bringing more twists, humor, and mystery to its loyal fans.
“Only Murders in the Building” follows three unlikely friends—Charles, Oliver, and Mabel—played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, respectively. Bonded by their shared obsession with true crime, the trio becomes embroiled in a real-life murder investigation within their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building. What starts as a fascination with solving a local death spirals into a complex, multi-layered mystery as they unravel secrets that go back years within their building.
Season 4 picks up with the trio reeling from the events surrounding Charles’ stunt double and friend, Sazz Pataki, portrayed by Jane Lynch. The burning question is whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, thrusting the trio into another whirlwind investigation. This season takes them beyond the confines of their building and all the way to Los Angeles, where a Hollywood studio is developing a film based on their popular podcast, “Only Murders.”
As they chase leads and unravel clues, the sleuthing trio races back to New York, only to find themselves entangled in the lives of the Arconia’s West Tower residents. The trio’s detective skills are tested with new secrets to uncover and dangerous encounters to navigate.
The star-studded cast continues to expand in Season 4.
Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and many more will make guest appearances. Steve Martin and John Hoffman co-created the series, and Hoffman also serves as writer, ensuring the blend of comedy, intrigue, and charm that has made it a fan favorite. As Season 4 premieres, fans can expect a thrilling ride full of unexpected twists, sharp humor, and murder.
