Paul Walter Hauser will appear at Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot V.

Major League Wrestling (MLW), a rapidly growing wrestling league in the U.S., has just made a thrilling announcement. The esteemed Emmy-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser is set to join the 40-man Battle Riot match. This is the league’s most significant event of the year. This event will be streamed live and free for the first time ever on YouTube on Saturday, June 1, from Center Stage in Atlanta.

Paul Walter Hauser has established a unique presence in Hollywood with his exceptional performances and memorable characters. Ge first gained attention through roles in TV shows such as “Kingdom” Cobra Cai, and “Black Bird.” His breakthrough came in 2017 with his darkly comedic portrayal of Shawn Eckardt in “I, Tonya.” This performance highlighted his ability to blend humor with depth, setting him apart from his peers. Hauser continued to impress with a critically acclaimed lead role in Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell” (2019). In the film, he delivered a powerful and nuanced performance as the real-life security guard wrongly accused of a bombing. His versatility is further showcased in projects like “Cruella.” Hauser has solidified his reputation as a talented and dynamic actor capable of both comedic and dramatic roles.

By joining MLW, Hauser is taking a significant step in his burgeoning pro wrestling career.

He is entering the flagship Battle Riot match for a shot at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. The acclaimed actor has been training and competing since November 2023 while making high-profile appearances in film and television. A mash-up of a battle royale and anything-goes street fight, this super-sized main event will feature 40 of the fiercest wrestlers on the planet. It will have new participants entering the ring every 60 seconds.

“I’m so excited to participate in Major League Wrestling’s 6th Annual Battle Riot,” said Paul Walter Hauser. “While some could misconstrue this to be an actor making a cameo in wrestling or a fan checking off some bucket list or wish fulfillment – don’t get it twisted. I am entering to prove myself worthy of a spot in the world of wrestling, as well as a shot at Satoshi Kojima’s World Heavyweight Title.”

Battle Riot VI will be MLW’s first-ever free live-streamed event.

The additional participants in MLW Battle Riot VI will include former UFC’s Matt Riddle, Místico, Bobby Fish, “Death Machine” Sami Callihan, WCW legend Ernest “The Cat” Miller, and former MLW World Tag Team Champion Matthew Justice. Also expected to participate are Timothy Thatcher, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Mads Krugger, Alex Kane, former NFL player AJ Francis, and more.

Paul Walter Hauser is set to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in an undisclosed role in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, which many speculate could be the character Mole Man. Hauser’s dual career in acting and wrestling showcases his versatility and dedication to both crafts.
