Percy Jackson Season 3: What to Know About ‘The Titan’s Curse’ Before SDCC 2026

The Titan’s Curse Comes to life in Season 3 of Percy Jackson.

As San Diego Comic Con is about to go full steam ahead, fans are excited to learn more about Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3. The hype for Season 3 is high as the Disney+ show will also be hosting a panel at 10 AM PST on Thursday, July 23.

However, in anticipation for the show’s San Diego Comic Con panel, Entertainment Weekly gave fans new looks at the iconic characters of Rick Riordan’s third book. Plus, the article also revealed the first official look at two highly anticipated characters, Nico and Bianca di Angelo.

The di Angelo siblings, who are children of Hades, contribute to Season 3’s promise for a “darker” tone that hasn’t been felt previously. With Percy Jackson Season 3 on the horizon, fans can expect a lot of things to unfold.

Who Are the di Angelo Siblings in Percy Jackson?

In Riordans’ books, Nico and Bianca di Angelo were born from Hades during the precipice of World War II. However, when their mother, Maria, was caught in the crossfire between Zeus and Hades, the siblings were put into hiding at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. Fans might recognize this locale from Season 1 Episode 6 “We Take a Zebra to Vegas”.

The di Angelo siblings were indeed teased as an easter egg when Season 1 was originally running. Although the two weren’t present in “The Lightning Thief” book, some fans recognized Nico’s voice that called out to Bianca. It was previously confirmed, by ComicBook.com by showrunners Dan Shotz and Jonathan E. Steinberg, that this was an intentional reference.

In Percy Jackson Season 3, Nico di Angelo is played by Levi Chrisopulos and Bianca di Angelo is played by Olive Abercrombie. In the first looks for Season 3, the siblings could be seen in Camp Half-Blood attire alongside the Hunters of Artemis, who also play an important role.

How Does Thalia Grace Fit Into Percy Jackson Season 3?

Another character that fans can’t wait to see is Thalia Grace, the daughter of Zeus who came back to life at the end of Percy Jackson Season 2. Although she was mostly seen through Annabeth’s flashbacks, her presence in Season 3 will push Percy to his limits.

In the original “Titan’s Curse” book, due to losing Annabeth early on, Percy is forced to team up with Thalia in order to go rescue her. Both of them don’t see eye-to-eye from the start, but as they face monstrous threats like the Nemean lion and Talos, they’ll have to set aside their demigodly differences.

“They are both, as far as they know, the only children of the Great Prophecy,” executive producer Craig Silverstein said to EW. “It’s a question of not just who is going to be the hero of prophecy and going to save or destroy Olympus, but is it going to be me or you?”

Furthermore, Thalia also had previously met the Hunters of Artemis before being entrapped in her tree by Zeus. She was given the choice by Zoë Nightshade, played by Saara Chaudry in Percy Jackson Season 3, to join the Hunters. Whether or not this connection will be explored remains to be seen.

What is Percy Jackson Season 3 About?

Percy Jackson Season 3 will be adapting the events of “The Titan’s Curse”, which is a turning point for Percy and his friends to stop Kronos. In the book, Percy loses Annabeth to Atlas and thus has to save her, with the help of Grover, Thalia, and the Hunters, in addition to the goddess Artemis. They travel throughout the world, from the Junkyard of the Gods to the Hoover Dam, with time running out.

Fortunately, Percy also has an unlikely ally in the form of Nico di Angelo, whose demigodly powers are still restrained by his youth. However, the Great Prophecy still looms above Percy’s head as Kronos and Luke ramp up their forces and the di Angelo siblings face some tough choices.

Percy Jackson Season 3’s main cast includes Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Tamara Smart, and Daniel Diemer. New additions to the cast include Dafne Keen, Ming-Na Wen, Kate McKinnon, Holt McCallany, Jesse L. Martin, Jennifer Beals, and Hubert Smielecki.
