Young star Raphael Alejandro shines in Netflix’s High school comedy Incoming.

Raphael Alejandro is set to shine once again in the upcoming Netflix film Incoming, which will be released globally on August 23. The film, directed by Dave and John Chernin, centers on four awkward freshmen navigating the daunting challenge of attending their first high school party. It tackles the perils of adolescence in a comedic and relatable way. The film stars Mason Thames, Isabella Ferreira, Ramon Reed, and Bardia Seiri. I spoke with Alejandro about the Rated R Teen Comedy ‘Incoming‘ and revisited his time on Once Upon A Time. Watch the conversation below!
Alejandro first gained widespread recognition for his role as Hugo in How to Be a Latin Lover, where he starred alongside Salma Hayek and Eugenio Derbez. This breakout role solidified Alejandro’s reputation as an acting prodigy, and his comedic talent has only grown since then. However, long before this success, Alejandro won over audiences with his performance as Roland, Robin Hood’s son, on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. His time on the show was one of his earliest and most memorable roles, which helped pave the way for his future success. Fans of Disney Channel’s Bunk’d will also recognize Alejandro from his portrayal of Matteo, a character he played for three seasons and returned to for guest appearances in the show’s final season. In addition, he stars in Apple TV’s Acapulco, reprising his role as Hugo, nephew to Older Maximo, with season three recently released.
You can see Raphael Alejandro lend his voice to the upcoming animated film The Wild Robot.
