Bardia Seiri shines in Netflix’s high school Rated R comedy “Incoming.”

Bardia Seiri is making his feature film debut as Koosh in Netflix’s coming-of-age comedy Incoming, which is now streaming. This laugh-out-loud film follows four freshmen facing their greatest challenge yet: attending their first high school party. The movie dives into teenage selfhood and explores the pressures of adolescence, peer influence, and young love.
In Incoming, Koosh, played by Seiri, is a popular teen from a wealthy family. As one of the core four characters, he grapples with the challenge of stepping out of his older brother’s shadow and living up to the expectations of his social status. Through the ups and downs of navigating the high school party scene, Koosh’s journey is marked by personal growth and missteps. Seiri stars alongside rising talents Mason Thames, Ramon Reed, and Raphael Alejandro. The film also boasts veteran stars. It features Bobby Cannavale, Kaitlin Olson, and Scott MacArthur. David and John Chernin helm the project as writers and directors. Check out my interview with Seiri below!
From a young age, Seiri appeared in commercials, and over time, his passion for acting grew under his father’s guidance. Seiri steadily built a promising career, including lead roles in various independent films. However, he is best known for his recurring role as Farouk in two seasons of *Grey’s Anatomy, for which he earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Young Entertainers Awards.
