John Cena is Ricky Stanicky in the new Prime Video comedy.
On March 7th, 2024, Prime Video will premiere a comedy film called “Ricky Stanicky”. Peter Farrelly directs the movie. He is known for his work on comedic hits like “Dumb and Dumber” and “There’s Something About Mary”. The film boasts a star-studded cast led by Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, and Andrew Santino. The story of “Ricky Stanicky” revolves around three friends who find themselves in trouble after a prank goes wrong. They create a fake person named Ricky Stanicky to get away with it. However, their harmless lie comes back to haunt them twenty years later. Efron, Santino, and Fowler play the friends who use Ricky as their scapegoat for past mistakes. When their significant others become suspicious and demand to meet Ricky, the friends enlist the help of “Rock Hard” Rod, played by WWE superstar John Cena, to impersonate Ricky and keep their secret safe.
What follows is a hilarious adventure filled with mistaken identities, absurd situations, and plenty of laughs.
As Rod immerses himself in the role of Ricky Stanicky, the friends quickly realize that their plan may have backfired spectacularly. With additional performances from comedy veterans like William H.
