Nosferatu will hit theaters Christmas Day.

Focus Features has released the official trailer for Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated horror film Nosferatu, which will hit U.S. theaters on December 25, 2024. Known for his distinctive cinematic style, Eggers both wrote and directed the film, which brings a gothic retelling of the iconic vampire story to life just in time for the holiday season.
The all-star cast of Nosferatu includes Bill Skarsgård as the titular vampire, alongside Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe. The film promises a chilling tale of obsession, focusing on a young woman who becomes entangled with a terrifying vampire, wreaking havoc in their world.

Eggers, known for his work on films like The Witch and The Lighthouse, also serves as a producer on the film, alongside Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, Jeff Robinov, and John Graham. This collaboration marks Eggers’ return to Focus Features after the success of his 2022 Viking epic, The Northman. Additionally, the project reunites him with producer Chris Columbus, who previously worked with Eggers as an executive producer on The Witch and The Lighthouse.

With its gothic visuals, eerie atmosphere, and haunting story of love and horror, Nosferatu will be a must-see for horror fans and cinema enthusiasts alike this holiday season. Eggers’ distinct directorial style, combined with an impressive cast, makes the film one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
