“Royal Crackers” season two reignites Adult Swim’s midnight lineup.

The long-awaited second season of Adult Swim’s beloved comedy series, “Royal Crackers,” premiered last night. After its groundbreaking debut in 2023 as the highest-rated original series on Adult Swim, Season Two of “Royal Crackers” will further explore the comically dysfunctional Hornsby family and their eccentric business ventures in the cracker industry.
I recently had the opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview with David Gborie, the voice actor who plays Darby in the animated series “Royal Crackers.” Gborie is widely recognized for his work in “Exploding Kittens” and the podcast “My Momma Told Me.” Alongside him was Maile Flanagan, who is renowned for her iconic portrayal of Naruto and lends her vocal talents to the character of Matt in “Royal Crackers.” Flanagan’s versatility adds depth to Matt’s struggles with identity and belonging within his quirky family and school life. Being experienced in various mediums, both of them shared their insights into the series and their experience working on the show.
Creator Jason Ruiz also stars in the series.
“Royal Crackers” revolves around the tumultuous dynamics within the Hornsby family. It follows them as they grapple for control over their lackluster cracker empire. The voice cast features Andrew Santino, Jessica St. Clair, David Gborie, and Maile Flanagan. They each bring their unique comedic flair to the table. Season Two promises to delve deeper into the sibling rivalry between Stebe (Ruiz) and Theo (Santino). They will confront their father’s enigmatic past and strive for self-discovery amidst the chaos of their dysfunctional family dynamics. Meanwhile, Deb (St. Clair) and Stebe’s relationship faces unexpected challenges, adding a layer of tension to the already volatile mix. As the Hornsby family navigates personal and professional hurdles, the fate of the Royal Crackers company hangs in the balance, with aspirations to conquer the snack food industry.
Don’t miss the uproarious antics of the Hornsby family in “Royal Crackers” Season Two. It airs on Adult Swim, with new episodes available the next day on Max. Read more News on Nerdtropolis and make sure to subscribe to our Channel.
