New Line Cinema’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s bestselling 1975 novel Salem’s Lot is set to debut Thursday, October 3, on Max. This highly anticipated Max Original reunites the producing teams behind the massively successful horror franchises The Conjuring Universe and IT. Gary Dauberman is best known for his work on the IT films, and Annabelle directs, writes, and executive produces the film.

Salem’s Lot follows the story of author Ben Mears, played by Lewis Pullman. He returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next novel.
