Prime Video has unveiled first-look images for the eagerly awaited animated series Sausage Party: Foodtopia. This fresh venture, drawing from the 2016 animated film Sausage Party, is set to premiere globally on July 11. All eight episodes will be available to stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, a collaboration from Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon MGM Studios.
The series continues the story of the original film.
It centers on the characters Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy. The group, navigating their new reality after the revelations of the feature film, embarks on a quest to establish their own food society. Fans of the original movie can rejoice, as much of the beloved voice cast is set to return. Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton are reprising their roles, bringing their unique comedic talents back to the fold.
The series will also introduce new characters voiced by notable actors.
Will Forte, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester are among the new additions to the ensemble. Furthermore, Sam Richardson will voice Julius, a character envisioned as an orange with a distinct personality.
