Blumhouse, known for hits like “Get Out” and “The Invisible Man,” delivers another spine-chilling thriller with “Speak No Evil.” This intense suspense flick takes audiences on a harrowing journey. It follows an American family’s dream vacation that turns into a twisted nightmare. The film stars James McAvoy as the enigmatic host, Paddy. He is a seemingly charming alpha male with a dark side lurking beneath his hospitality. Mackenzie Davis and Scoot McNairy also star as Louise and Ben Dalton. They are the unsuspecting American couple drawn into Paddy’s web of deception.
As the Daltons and their daughter Agnes, portrayed by Alix West Lefler, arrive at the idyllic British countryside estate, tensions escalate as they uncover unsettling truths about their hosts. Aisling Franciosi adds to the intrigue as Ciara, Paddy’s wife, while newcomer Dan Hough captivates as their mysterious son, Ant, who communicates only through silence.
