SPY x FAMILY Season 3 New Trailer Features Ending Theme Song by Lilas

SPY x FAMILY Season 3 officially streams on Crunchyroll on October 4.

Crunchyroll has announced that SPY x FAMILY Season 3 will officially premiere on October 4, streaming worldwide (excluding Asia) with new episodes arriving weekly on the same day as Japan. A newly released main trailer teases the upcoming season while also unveiling the ending theme song, “Actor,” performed by singer-songwriter Lilas.

Returning Cast and Characters

The beloved voice cast will reprise their roles, including: Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, Kenichiro Matsuda as Bond Forger, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin, Yuhko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson, Kensho Ono as Yuri Briar, Natsumi Fujiwara as Damian Desmond, Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell, and Ayane Sakura as Fiona Frost.

Creative Team

Season 3 is a collaboration between WIT Studio and CloverWorks, directed by Yukiko Imai with series composition from Rino Yamasaki. Kazuaki Shimada returns as character designer and chief animation director, while Kyoko Hara oversees color design, and Minami Usui serves as art director. The production also features photography by Yuya Sakuma, editing by Rina Koguchi, sound direction by Shoji Hata, and music production from (K)NoW_NAME, ensuring the same high-quality presentation fans have come to expect.

About SPY x FAMILY

Based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga series, SPY x FAMILY follows secret agent Twilight, who goes by the alias Loid Forger, as he poses as a family man to complete his mission. Unbeknownst to him, his new wife, Yor, is an assassin, and his adopted daughter, Anya, is a telepath who knows both their secrets.

The manga, serialized on Shonen Jump Plus since 2019, has surpassed 38 million copies in circulation as of August 2025 and has been nominated for Harvey and Eisner Awards. It continues to chart on The New York Times Graphic Books list and Circana’s Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels.

Legacy of Success

Since its debut in 2022, SPY x FAMILY has won multiple Crunchyroll Anime Awards, including Best New Anime Series and Best Comedy. Anya Forger has also earned the “Must Protect At All Costs” award three years running (2023–2025). The franchise expanded further with the feature film SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, which premiered in Japan in 2023 and hit U.S. theaters in April 2024.

Season 3 of SPY x FAMILY begins streaming October 4 on Crunchyroll, continuing the adventures of anime’s most unusual family.
