Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Tales of the Empire is set to take fans on an animated odyssey.
Lucasfilm is preparing to take fans on an exciting animated journey through the Galactic Empire with their upcoming series “Tales of the Empire.” The show will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on May 4, a date celebrated by fans worldwide as Star Wars Day. “Tales of the Empire” will feature six episodes exploring the Galactic Empire’s inner workings. The show follows the journey of two warriors, Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee, as they navigate different paths in different eras. Through their eyes, viewers will experience a thrilling narrative filled with danger, intrigue, and the ongoing struggle between light and dark. Watch the trailer below!
Morgan Elsbeth, a young woman who has lost everything, embarks on a quest for vengeance within the expanding Imperial domain. Alongside her is former Jedi Barriss Offee, who does whatever it takes to survive in a rapidly changing galaxy. Their choices will not only shape their own destinies but also ripple throughout the galaxy. The cast of “Tales of the Empire” features Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Meredith Salenger as Barriss Offee, Rya Kihlstedt as Lyn (also known as the Fourth Sister), Wing T. Chao as Wing, Lars Mikkelsen as the iconic Thrawn, and Jason Isaacs as the menacing Grand Inquisitor. Matthew Wood will also be returning to voice the formidable General Grievous.
