Having had the opportunity to delve into the first two episodes of this innovative series using my Meta Quest 2, I can confidently say that ‘The Faceless Lady’ is a game-changer. Despite being in the early days of VR technology, the series showcases its immense potential for the future of immersive entertainment. It was a refreshing experience to utilize my VR set from the comfort of my own couch, feeling like a fly on the wall as the eerie story unfolded around me.

Presented by horror mastermind Eli Roth.

“The Faceless Lady” is a six-episode series that promises to redefine the VR landscape. It draws inspiration from seventeenth-century Irish folklore surrounding Lady Margaret Hodnett. The series transports viewers to Belvelly Castle in Cork, where the Faceless Lady’s ominous presence looms. Three couples are lured to the castle for a mysterious competition. However, they find themselves entangled in a supernatural game of life and death.

The production is a collaborative effort between Crypt TV and Meta.

Executive producers Jack Davis, Darren Brandl, Eli Roth, Larry Bass, and Aaron Farrel lead the charge. With VR production services provided by Light Sail VR and contributions from co-executive producers Robert Watts and Matt Celia, the series promises to push the boundaries of immersive storytelling. Fans of horror and VR alike will want to attend the series premiere on April 4, with two episodes dropping simultaneously HERE. From there, viewers can expect a new episode to debut every Thursday, delving deeper into the mysteries of Kilolc Castle and the Faceless Lady herself.

To join the spine-tingling experience, attendees can RSVP for the premiere event in Meta Horizon Worlds. “The Faceless Lady” will be available in the Creepy Cabin world. Immerse yourself in haunted experiences and premium horror content while uncovering the secrets of the haunted cabin. Meta and Crypt TV are pioneering a new era of immersive entertainment. With this series, they are blending cutting-edge VR technology with ancient folklore to create an experience unlike any other. So grab your VR headset, buckle up, and prepare for a journey into the heart of darkness.
