The Night Agent Season 3 Trailer Drops as Peter Sutherland Takes on a Dark Money Network

The Night Agent Season 3 targets a rogue treasury agent in high stakes new mission.

Netflix is bringing The Night Agent back fast. The streamer debuted the official trailer, key art, and new images for Season 3. Gabriel Basso returns as Night Agent Peter Sutherland when the season premieres Feb. 19, 2026.

Season 3 picks up after the explosive fallout of Season 2. This time, Peter gets pulled into a mission that starts with a single suspect. It then spirals into a wider conspiracy with national consequences.

A New Target Sends Peter to Istanbul

Peter is called in to track down a young Treasury agent. The agent fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel. He also killed his boss before he ran. That chase kicks off the season’s main conflict. Peter digs into a dark money network with deep reach. The deeper he goes, the more dangerous the job becomes.

Paid assassins close in as Peter follows the money. He also tries to stay alive long enough to connect the dots. Every step pushes him closer to answers, and to a trap.

A Relentless Journalist Enters the Fight

Peter’s investigation puts him on a collision course with a journalist. The journalist will not back off. Together, they start uncovering buried secrets and old grudges.

Those discoveries threaten to shake the government to its core. The stakes do not stay theoretical for long. The truth puts both of them in the crosshairs. The season frames the danger as personal and systemic. It is not just about stopping one bad actor. It is about surviving a machine that protects itself.

Who’s Back, Who’s New, and Who’s Running The Night Agent Season 3

Shawn Ryan returns as creator, showrunner, and executive producer. He produces through MiddKid Productions. Ryan is known for The Shield and S.W.A.T.

Season 3 series regulars include Gabriel Basso and Louis Herthum. The cast also features Stephen Moyer and Callum Vinson. David Lyons and Fola Evans Akingbola also return. Jennifer Morrison joins the lineup alongside Albert Jones. Ward Horton and Genesis Rodriguez round out the series regular list. Netflix also released key art and images to spotlight the new season’s tone.

Episode Directors and Assignments

Season 3 will feature multiple directors across the run. Guy Ferland directs Episodes 301 and 302. Adam Arkin directs Episodes 303 and 304.

Paris Barclay directs Episodes 305 and 306. Hiromi Kamata directs Episodes 307 and 308. Billy Gierhart directs Episodes 309 and 310. That lineup signals a steady push for pace and tension. The series tends to build in layers, then hit hard late. This schedule suggests the same kind of ramp.

The trailer signals a bigger international footprint. Istanbul becomes the launch point for the season’s central chase. If Season 2 blew the doors off Peter’s world, Season 3 looks ready to burn the house down. The new mission blends espionage, money, and media pressure. Most of all, it forces Peter to choose who he can trust.

The Night Agent Season 3 premieres February 19, 2026, on Netflix.
