Little do they know, their respite will become a battleground for survival against three masked intruders whose motivations remain as mysterious as their identities. As the couple deals with the inexplicable onslaught of violence, tensions escalate, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats, gripped by fear and uncertainty.

This film draws inspiration from real-life events. “The Strangers ― Chapter 1” taps into primal fears of home invasion and the terror of the unknown. The masked assailants, devoid of discernible motive, embody a sense of malevolence that transcends rationality, haunting viewers long after the credits roll. However, this is not a standalone exploration of fear and paranoia. It is preceded by the films “The Strangers” (2008) and The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018).
